I really love Kendall Jenner’s style, and this look that she wore back in December is a look that I would gladly borrow right about now. Kendall’s style is very different to that of her sisters, with the model going for more of a laid back, Cali feel. This outfit is perfect for spring, with the combination of black with neutral tones of white and cream creating a really fresh look! I’m completely obsessed with the pumps in this outfit also, they are everywhere at the moment and I really need to get myself a pair!
What do you guys think of Kendall’s style, fab right? 🙂
The Twits by Roald Dahl was one of the first books I ever read, with my fondness for the author starting my love affair with books. I stumbled across this quote today from The Twits and thought it was too cute not to share! Enjoy 🙂 …
Teen Vogue does some of the most inspiring cover shoots and this month’s cover is one of the best. Shailene Woodley is the cover star for April, with the Divergent actress showing off her earthy and ethereal style for the magazine. I love the look of this shoot, with the actress being styled in flowy pastel pieces alongside more androgynous military items. Shailene’s short hair looks great all tousled up and I love the actress’s dewy makeup also.
To see the stunning location of the shoot and to get to know Shailene a little better, have a look at this behind the scenes video…
Have a great week guys! 🙂
The sun is shining and I couldn’t be more excited that spring is finally here. For this spring, pastel tones are everywhere and this dress from Zara is the perfect piece to help incorporate the trend into your wardrobe. I love the light green tone of this dress and its polka dot detailing makes for a great match! This dress is definitely going to be on my birthday wishlist! 🙂
All eyes were on Hollywood on Sunday night, with the 86th annual Academy Awards being held in Los Angeles. The night was full of everything that you would expect from the Oscars, with the film industry coming together to celebrate some of their greatest talent. Highlights from the awards include a celeb-filled selfie, another Jennifer Lawrence stumble and some great gags from host Ellen.
Lets get down to the important stuff now though-the fashion. The night saw some amazing looks take place on the red carpet and I’ve picked four of my favourite to share with you.
Lupita Nyong’o is fast becoming one of Hollywood’s leading actresses and having been on a complete style role this awards season, all eyes were on the actress on Sunday night. Lupita certainly did not disappoint, walking the red carpet in this beautiful plunging Prada gown. The ice-blue tone of this gown is incredibly striking and I love how the look was accessorised with a Fred Leighton headband and jewellery. With Lupita winning her first Oscar on the night (well done girl), I have a feeling this outfit is going to become something of a classic!
I can never talk about an outfit worn by Emma Watson without being completely biased (as I’m slightly obsessed with her) but she again completed her run of great outfits with this metallic Vera Wang number. On first seeing the dress, I initially thought it wasn’t as formal as a dress for such an event should be but I think that’s what makes it so great- it’s subtlety. I really like the two toned metallic design of the dress and it’s high waistline gives the actress that desired hourglass silhouette.
Being the spokesperson for Dior there was only ever one designer that Jennifer was going to wear to the awards, with the actress picking this orange peplum gown. I love this outfit on Jennifer, with the actress being one of only a few to wear such a bright, vibrant colour on the night. The look was finished off with slicked-back hair and silver jewellery.
Jennifer Garner looked dazzling on the night in this fringed Oscar de la Renta gown. The look was very old-school Hollywood, with the actress accessorising her outfit with a simple clutch and wavy curls.
Overall there were some great red carpet looks on the night, with the Oscars providing us with our much needed fashion fix!
